This course and its companion lab, PSYC 294, teach you how psychological science works from research questions to data analysis. You learn to evaluate claims using strong design, ethics, and the four big validities. Together, the courses help you think like a psychological scientist.
This course introduces you to Social Psychology and explores how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are shaped by the social world. You examine topics such as attitudes, conformity, relationships, prejudice, group dynamics, and prosocial behavior through an evidence based lens. The course helps you better understand everyday social interactions while applying research to real world issues and your own life.
Explore research on workplace issues including workforce planning, employee selection, leader development, job attitudes and motivation, implementing work teams, improving diversity and inclusion, and facilitating organizational change.
